Slaney Lodge

This very well sheltered and hidden family home was designed and built in the late 1990’s, at a time when building energy performance was not as considered and developed as it is today. Therefore, the project required extensive internal strip out of floors and walls to allow the refurbishment and upgrade to all services to bring it up to an ‘A’-rated standard to form compliance with current building regulations (TGD Part L compliance).

The new extension to the rear is wrapped in a standing seam zinc finish and leads onto a large, landscaped south facing garden with access to BBQ and patio area areas in a mature and well landscaped setting. The property underwent complete internal redecoration with engineered timber floors, feature electric AGA within a new kitchen with stone counters and full interior decoration throughout. The building setting was extensively hard and soft landscaped during the main building project.
