The original building layout did not allow for open plan arrangement/ team collaboration and had limited meeting/ conferencing and staff recreation areas.

The new design included a number of glazed privacy booths/ kiosks, larger meeting rooms and group conferencing rooms where “Town Hall” meetings can be conducted. Key to this project was to make reference to the group’s origins as the Waterford Co-Op Society, this can be seen throughout the building in the glazing details & manifestations illustrated. The project involved the provision of temporary office accommodation to allow the project to progress while a portion of the building remained fully operational throughout the works. All constraints were successfully managed and completed within a short timeframe. The building was delivered on time and within budget.
